The Honda Racing team is signing off after a positive Isle of Man TT campaign; although the results do not reflect the performance of the riders Ian Hutchinson and Lee Johnston, the squad is leaving this year’s event pleased with progress and on-going development of the Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade SP2.
The long awaited Honda CRF450L will arrive to the dealership this September.
Honda had a desire to produce a dual-purpose bike that draws strongly on the fundamental performance of a race machine CRF450R, and so they created the new CRF450L.
Round 2 – AMA Pro Motocross Championship – May 26, 2018
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – Round 2 of the 2018 AMA Pro Motocross Championship took place on Saturday at the always-challenging Glen Helen Raceway and KTM’s Factory Racing teams emerged with a pair of second-place finishes at the Glen Helen National. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Marvin Musquin sustained his positive start to the season with second-overall in the 450MX class, while Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull/KTM’s Alex Martin rode his way to a double-podium finish to earn second-overall on the day.

Honda’s genuinely iconic mini-bike is re-imagined for the present day, with styling that draws heavily on the original, complemented by modern, premium touches such as USD forks, twin rear shocks, LCD instruments, IMU-based ABS and full LED lighting. Its 125cc air-cooled engine delivers 6.9kW power, and fuel efficiency of 67km/litre; wet weight is a mere 107kg.
